Too busy to Go!

well... i really have been too busy to get down to my local Go club but I will make it soon.
I've made a few more boards since I last posted anything here.
I've moved on from the bord w/ leather lines, but I will still do them if anyone asks, I was my favorite.
I"ve got one cookin' in the shop that has lines made from jarrah inlay with a Tassie Oak playing suface.
looks nice, I am seriously thinking bout putting it in a very modern style table.

Make your own!

Neat 9x9 board for quick cafe games. It was quite a few years ago, while I was living in Western Australia that I started making my own Go boards. I was getting tired of searching for a decent set of equipment. Back then I was useig one of those blue plastic fold out things you know the kind they sell in korean shops all over the planet.
I've made a few now for myself and friends and have managed to get quite a few new players involved, so if you see me sitting @ atable in a cafe with this say hi, sit down and have a game! Posted by Hello

Go Boards & Go Group

Hey players,
I've been playing this game for a long while now and i've have
gotten much joy from it.
I learned from a great friend of mine back at home(NYC). He is a
player of great strength. I cannot count the number of games we have
had, or the number of defeats he has given me.
Through those games i was turned on to the aestetic beauty of the
game, which led me to own many different sets of equipment. From
tables to little plastic mats. shell and slate to glass stones.
Once... i had a great 9x9 in a kitchen played with pasta and hunks
of colored dough! My life has turned out to be one that involved
travel and loss of personal belongings until i found myself in Perth
with no stones or board... well not much of anything really. But
really... everything!
A friend with tools allowed me to make my first board, and I make
them still, somewhere in melbourne. Take a look,
